Description

The Engineering Program at Dover Area High School teaches students how to solve and think through different real world problems. The program links with our SkillsUSA chapter by preparing students for different competitions such as: architectural drafting, and technical drafting. Our program also sends kids to the International Submarine Races (ISR) which further prepares our students for new and upcoming challenges.

Submarine made by Engineering students. Engineering program introduces students to different real work world problems and teaches them how to solve those problems. Students learn to use industrial standard equipment, use 3D modeling softwares, and hands on Metal/Manufacturing Skills. The Engineering Program Offers multiple credentials such as, NOCTI and OSHA 30. The program also offers a pre-apprenticeship program with The Manufacturers Association. The following classes are available to students who are interested or want to pursue engineering : Introduction to Engineering, Manufacturing Enterprise, Engineering 3D modeling, principles of engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics, AutoCAD, Metals/Material Processing,engineering Design/Development.
